The time has come again for us salty city dwellers to participate in the Salt Awards. We’re lucky enough to do this by voting for the best our town has to offer. “Every year in Utah, The Salt Lake Tribune honors businesses, places, and experiences that enhance life in Utah.” This great competition consistently brings new venues to my attention. All of us at The Society are proud to be partnered with a few locations that have been nominated for an award.
Here’s your guide to cross-referencing our teamed up nominees:
- Downtown Nightlife
- Brewvies Cinema Pub – 2016 Salt Awards Winner
- Good Grammar
- SKY SLC
- Music Venue
- Kilby Court
- Urban Lounge
- Vegetarian/Vegan Restaurant
- Piper Down Pub
Our list this year is small but we have high hopes to grow it in the near future! We’ve loved the connections we’ve made so far and how welcoming the city has been to our enterprise. I’m ecstatic to be mentioning the names of a couple of venues again, after my premier article highlighted a few of our favourite spots around town. Personally, I’ll be voting for Kilby Court as the best music venue. Kilby has been there for me since the beginning and I’ll continue to love it.
Other categories you can look forward to voting for include Signature Burger, Brewery, Food Truck, Performing Arts Company, Museum, Family Adventure, Festival/Fair, Coffee Experience, Weekend Brunch, Fine Dining, and more.
Voting closes on September 1st – be sure to cast your votes soon! All winners will be recognized at the annual Salt Awards party coming up on September 27th.
